Why St Katharines?
St Katharine’s House is the building where I work and my logo is from the plaque over the door. The house, built in 1874, is dedicated to Violet Katharine Chandos-Pole, the daughter of one of the founding dynasties of NatWest who died tragically young. The steps taken to preserve succession and manage the family’s wealth kept Victorian barristers very busy. As much of my work solves similar issues, the name (which is also my name) seemed strangely apt!
